I'm not sure of the details (We had a bad cell phone connection as I was driving into Sacramento last night) but I believe Dal was telling me that a return to Japan, with the Robben Ford Band, has been confirmed for mid-October (?).
I'll confirm this when I talk later with Dal again.

Hallo Daved,
Must we, true and dedicaded EURO-fans, fear a "rechedule" for the Euro-tour ? Robben will be exausted comming from JAPAN into EUROPE !!!
Am I right or wrong here ?

Hi Daved,
I hear that Robben will be playing the Hell Blues Festival in Trondheim,
Norway on Sept 11th... I'll be there as well playing the opening night
with Jon Lord's new group. It is too bad I can't stay to see/hear Robben play again. I had the wonderful experience of meeting and playing with
Robben and Anne Kerry a few years ago in Cologne, Germany where
they were doing a Kurt Weill project with the WDR Big Band.
Please say hello to Robben for me !

I don't know how much of the Jing Chi tour has been confirmed yet, as these are all 'high dollar', in-demand performers with heavily individual & independent schedules of their own to be considered and adjusted.
But, as far as Robben goes, we will be coming from Japanese venues, which are always a pleasurable, well disciplined, yet relaxed atmosphere, so I am pretty sure that Robben will not be 'overworked' for the most part when we step into our Jing Chi shoes.

Yes, it's at Motion Blue in Yokohama. Check their website. The dates are October 22 and 23. Only two nights so better make your reservations soon.
