Hey Scott

Have you started tracking at your studio yet?

I hope it’s going well.

Any cool pedal discoveries or cool gear discoveries during tracking?

Best
D

I haven't started tracking yet - we did several takes of each tune so I'm just listening and deciding right now. Before I start tracking guitar I'll go to some music stores and check out pedals. I've seen a couple pretty unusual ones on YouTube, like one that makes your guitar sound like a Japanese female singer (!). I don't think I have a tune that'll fit on, so I'll keep looking. I actually have quite a few weird pedals I didn't use on Vibe Station so maybe I'll find a place for them. Also I heard SoundToys is having a sale soon, so I'll update to the new version and get the whole bundle - all I have now is EchoBoy, but they have so many other cool plug ins!

When you get the soundtoys ones check out “crystallizer”
It is amazing—-detuned delays and the presets are really good.

If you want wieird, check out the Catalinbread Antichton, Pigtronix Mothership 2 and Ringmaster, and if you feel like you need something David Torn-y, the Montreal Assembly Count to Five. The Count To Five in particular is super fun!

One more — the Gamechanger Audio Plus Pedal. It’s a piano sustain-style pedal similar to the EHX Freeze, but with more bells & whistles.

Thanks guys, I've heard the Crystallizer - it's amazing. I have the Catalinbread Antichthon and I'll try the others for sure.
