Hahaha. That's awesome!

I'm probably gonna enter this contest. Come to think of it, it was the funny faces (not to forget about the hair) from the Melodic Phrasing video that caught my interest and got me into Scott and his playing.

Does it have to be an old photo? I started playing the guitar two years ago, and I don't have all these embrassing photos lying around. I've got an old guitar though, and I can probably do something fun with it.

Mine doesn't even approach that one - but it's all i got. Here's hoping no one else uploads a pic, and I win by default. Laughing

I just wish they had all the waiters from the mexican restaraunt next door that were singing happy b'day in the pic with me - ......

I don't think I can touch Scott's pic, but this one definitely registers way up there on the embarrassment scale.

Well, I ain't got any particulary bad old pictures, but I got a recent one in a stage outfit no man deserves to be seen in! Embarassed

Can you imagine the whole band having matching coats like this and with a female singer in front who...well...a little on the chubby side and showing a little too much clevage. That was my world a year or two ago Rolling Eyes

I remember one place where the crowd started laughing at us during a break, calling us circus artists. It was the female singer who was the "star" and boss who provided the outfits. I'm so glad I don't have to put on that again! Very Happy

If it's allowed to nominate two pics I also got a band picture from the same period...in hats...santa clause style...

I wonder if Scott ever got laid back then with a fro like that. I mean, I've NEVER seen anything like that. How the hell did he manage it? My god, talk about Bob Marley hiding joints in his hair...you could hide Bob and his whole band in Scott's! I have a picture I'd like to submit. There's a story behind it too....will be funnier once you know it. Story is, on new year's eve 1999 everyone was partying like it was....well....I just met the woman who I'm about to marry...she was visiting me in Waco (my home town) and wanted to see where the whole David Koresh, Branch Dividen thing went down. Me and a friend drove her out there to see. A lot of Koresh's followers who were gone at the time it all burned, have since taken up residence at the original compound site. Well...they were rebuilding the church/compound Koresh started. (called the Phoenix project) They all came out to greet us and tell us "Their side of the story"....and they seemed like descent enough folk...probably like to hunt and fish like the rest of....anyways....

On a workbench was this hard hat....It had a sticker on it that said ...well see the picture....it was promoting their restoration project. After getting creeped out enough by their propaganda, we finally left....A month later an unknown woman drove out to the site, tore off all her clothes, smashed all the tombstone markers for the people that died that day of the fire...and then set fire to the new church and burned it down. I'm being 100% serious here..you can't make this shit up

.....I wonder if they ever made a 2nd hard hat sticker for it...ehehhehe
