Depends what you mean by a typical guitar pot. What I would like in any vol pedal is a dropping of volume with no change in frequency.

Even if you don't 'go small' in total, it's always a treadle-type pedal that determines the limit ...

+ several thousand on a good-quality, good-sounding small volume pedal. I would also say 'wah' but I suspect it might end up prohibitively expensive.

Be aware that the neck on a Richie Kotzen tele is a good deal thicker than either the Henderson or Pro necks.

Yes, I'm pretty stuck on Elixirs, but mostly because of my mutant sweat! They've revolutionised my life as a guitarist.
