In order to fund a Modern/ pay the rent (depends how things turn out with my illness to be honest - depression is no fun - literally!) I'll soon be selling my Pro S3 in the UK for a very reasonable price.

As some of you may know, the first 2 frets are slightly pitted on the E and B strings due to the way I was wiping down the strings. The guys at Suhr offered to fix this under warranty even though it was my stupid fault, but the practicalities of sending it to the States and back make that idea a non starter.

The pitting only chokes the F on the top E, the other strings fret cleanly without a problem.

Now I'm either going to get the 2 frets replaced by a professional, in which case the price will be 999. If you are happy (well, not happy, but you know what I mean ) with replacing the frets yourself or arranging it the price will be 900.

Pics here - she is gorgeous and sounds incredible. This is good price for a guitar with no other issues, dings/ bumps etc: (link to Petrucci forum - hope that's OK!)

I'd prefer to do it off eBay as their prices are getting silly.

Any potential interested buyers please mail me at:

trevor.beckett1@btinternet.com

Thanks guys!

Your not wrong! all the best, hope you'll have a nice new modern soon Smile Have a look into "St Johns Wort", that may help you when the black dog comes barking, but consult with your GP.

I don't know the extent of the pitting but wouldn't a fret dress do the job? The winning buyer could even have it PLEK'ed and he would still have a good deal.

All the best.

If this came up a few weeks ago I would have jumped at it but my money is going to having an amp made.
Looks great!! A steal at that price too.

Sorry to hear of your illness. Been there, done that, definitely don't want the t-shirt. But you can get through it, although it doesn't feel like it at the time.

Happy to discuss strategies if you'd like.

Best of luck

Thanks Dude; any help/ advice at this time would be gratefully accepted. I am seeing a Psychiatrist/ Doctor/ Specialist Mental Health Team at the moment which is helping and I'm trying new meds (seem to rattle when I walk at the moment which ain't good!), but still, if you've got any advice/ recommendations of meds/ books - whatever it would be gratefully accepted!

In these cash strapped times selling the Suhr really is a last resort and to be honest it would break my heart so I'm doing everything I can to keep hold of it as it's the best guitar I've had in 20 years of playing.

Thanks again man.
