Hi. I recently purchased a DSV neck pickup and would like to know the color codes for the pickup's wires. I have been unable to find this info on the Suhr website (it's probably right in front of my eyes and I am just missing it), and I emailed tech support two days ago but have not yet received a reply.

I will be wiring it up in a standard configuration; 1 pickup, one volume, one tone knob, with no coil splitting or phase reversal or anything like that. I did find this image on guitarelectronics.com - http://static---guitarelectronics.app-hosted.com/media/img/guitarelectronics/-/diagrams/color_codes/suhr.jpg - but would like to get some confirmation before I wire the guitar up. Any insight would be appreciated. Smile

I think that the diagram is correct, but you should always check to make sure which wire belongs where etc. If you own a meter, it is always wise to check new pickups before wiring them up.

Yes it appears that they use the same wiring code as Seymour Duncan, according to all the posts I have found online asking the same question (for example, http://www.online-discussion.com/Suhr/viewtopic.php?t=359&highlight=wiring... http://www.hugeracksinc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54958... http://www.rig-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85028).

Shame that Suhr can't post this information in a readily-available form on their own website. Confused
