Hi, first let me show my huge respect to Mr. john suhr amps and the way they are built.
i own the badger 30 and 2 corsos and willing to get the hedgehog soon.
my quest is why the filter caps are radially mounted on the pcb and not axially since the filter caps are components that need to be replaced in the future? its hard to make it since u have to remove the whole pcb. is there any particular reason?

Axial electrolytics with those values are going the way of the dodo bird.
Id rather give you the ability to replace them with availability in 20 years when they would need replacing. Plus Axial take up much more space. I can lift that PCB and replace a cap in 10 minutes. Not a big deal really.
