Hello,

I just bought a 2018 Classic with Aldrich Bridge and Neck with a 5-Way Blade.
So what's activated in 2 & 4? Is it like the Strat?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Congrats on the new guitar! We would need the serial number of the guitar to know for sure. Our standard HH 5-way wiring is as follows:

1: Neck Humbucker
2: Neck Split
3: Both Humbuckers
4: Both Humbuckers Split
5: Bridge Humbucker

You can email us the serial number by filling out the contact form here (https://www.suhr.com/support/contact-us/) and we can double check for sure. Thanks!

Thank you! I really like it and those pickups are amazing!

The serai number is JS1P0G.

That's some brilliant wiring.
So when you say "split", what exactly does that mean?

2: Neck Split.

A. These 2 coils are splitted and only 1 of them is activated and becomes single coil, like Strat.
B. They split and they are out-of-phase, like again Strat
C. None of the above, haha.

4: Both Humbuckers Split.

A. They become single coil and out-of-phase.
B. They become single coil and on at the same time and not out-of-phase, like the position.

Thank you so much for your help!

Split as in one coil activated. In position 2, it's the outside coil (screw coil) of the neck pickup. In position 4 it's both inside coils (slug coils) of the humbuckers that are active.

According to our records, your guitar has our standard switching config. Enjoy! Glad you like the guitar!

Thanks! I really like it.
It's my first all-white-body guitar, so I wonder if it will eventually turn into Vintage White/Olympic White or not.

Recently started to notice that there are some noise in position 2 only.
It sounds great at home through anything and everything but at shows it's so noisy and it's almost unusable, only the position 2. 1 & 4 sound great.
Maybe the lighting on stage or dirty power at the venue?
Thanks.

Thats normal, in that position the neck hum bucker is split and is a true single coi so there will be single coil noise.
