Little bit of Panama for y'all. Very happy with this tone.

nice playing and tone, what was the signal chain?

I hear some artifacts and glitches on the left channel though Sad maybe try re-exporting? this sounds too good to be ruined by minor technical difficulties!

Thanks dude, I'll answer this in reverse order. I've been through both the original and the the 256kbs export and can't hear any glitching, apart from a slight click at 0:13s that I can't seem to isolate and fix - maybe a string hitting a polepiece... I've listened to my master .wav in Logic soloed as well. Is it possible you are hearing the micropitch? Or maybe you just have sharp ears and picked out that click!

As for gear:

- Suhr Modern Pro
- Red channel of Bogner 20th XTC unboosted (amp's boost engaged for solo)
- Speaker out to Suhr Reactive Load
- Ownhammer IR of a Celestion V30 with a Shure SM57
- A little post-EQ in Logic
- Subtle micropitch (10 cents and a 10ms delay) on the left channel in Logic
- Big verb with a 30ms delay bounced over to the stereo mix.

Great stuff...no artefacts here!

I think I enjoyed ‘Hear about it later’ even more Wink

Aah, thanks man! Yeah I went for a browner sound on that one and I've always liked the arrangement of all the parts on that tune. Was fun to break it down and figure out how everything fits together.

Downloaded the audio to listen again

Sounds totally fine this time! But if I click "play" to directly stream on the website then it gets periodic choppy glitches/artifacts... Sad

Excellent playing and sound

That sounded really good. You've got the chops and the tone.

Great playing and love that shade of brown for your tone.

Nice playing! The Ecstasy is one of the very few "marshall" style amps I have any interest in, largly thanks to Steve Vai's "Alien Love Secrets." Incredible tone on that album...

Thank you guys. I recently picked up a Helios Eclipse which is absolutely insane. Dripping with early VH tone and more. Can't wait to put together another clip.
