I know a lot of people prefer a light piece of alder when using it on their classic for tonal reasons. How does basswood fit into this equasion? Is there a difference in tone with light vs. heavy on basswood.
Any thoughts/experience would be appreciated.

Richard

Richard-

What you need is a guitar made out of Styrofoam.

It would sing!
