Hi guys...I am new here.
I just ordered my first Suhr guitar today. Spoke to John and told him that I wanted a San Dimas type of neck. He recommended a D shape with a little less shoulder.

I was wondering if an even C slim would be closer.

Any help or suggestions.

I've got a slim C on my Standard and it's VERY comfortable. But it's probably more of a Fendery type carve, albeit slimmer. If you're looking for a thin 80's type Charvel/Jackson type neck, then a slim D shape would probably be the ticket.
