Hi dude.

We are booked in the studio from the 18th of Feb, and I`ve just bought myself a new Zoom Q3HD video recorder.. so we will be posting loads of clips on youtube of our progress throughout our stay.

Drum and bass takes, vocal booth fun .. and of course loads of riffing and solo takes using as many Suhrs as we can!.

I hate it when bands are really secretive about their time in the studio.. but not us haha Laughing

Will keep the Suhr forumites informed as soon as stuff goes online.

Peace love and metal to all. Twisted Evil

Pete.

Not just yet Rolling Eyes .. so he`ll be loaning one from Guitar Guitar.

He will be using my Modern for the chord work as it has the Aldrich pickup in it (great for metal riffing). And I will use my new S6 for most of my takes.
Although he did treat himself to a Riot pedal a few weeks ago, so we`ll stick in front of a few heads till we get the right flavour.
I`ll stick to my Mesa Stiletto with the Shiba Drive for the main body of my sound.

Cheerz.

Haha Wink I`ll let him know..but for the money he`s wanting to spend.. it looks like it will have to be a Rasmus Rolling Eyes

If I wasnt amp shopping in 2011 I would be very interested in your Suhrs Ains.

I`ll still mention it too him though.. cheers.

So was the Koa-toped Standard he used in the Youtube videos, just on loan then?

Yea.. unfortunatly, It was a beautiful guitar, Hopefully Ed will get hooked up with a Suhr of his own one day. I was so impressed with the sound of that Koa top Standard.. I`m seriously thinking of ordering my number 3 Suhr based on that model.

I was wondering about this, as I've been listening to Heretic Nation a lot recently.

Cool

Not long now guys.

I`ll give you guys a quick update..

Album is all recorded and mixed and we are submitting the master to Lion Records this week... Then I guess its up to them to sort us out a release date. shouldnt be too long (hoping Autumn/Fall) time.

I have most of the album art in the bag and its looking nice (very sci fi based this time) All the studio footage recorded on my Zoom q3hd is going to be up on youtube etc as soon as the marketing push comes.

Now that I`ve heard the album a good few times, I can honestly say it blows me away everytime I hear it Shocked .

From 20 years plus of guitar playing I`ve never had such an amazing guitar sound on tape till now. Suhr Guitars and Mesa Mark V and Stiletto amps are a match made in heaven Wink

Thanks guys Very Happy .
