I think a builder like John could make anything possible, although I don't think Johnlikes using Ebony as a fretboard wood.
It also depend what sort of ones you are going for? Clean? Or dirty?
Ash is very alive and resonant not sure whether the Koa top would tame it or add to the zing? _________________ Sell the sizzle not the steak! |

really going for fat spanky clean clarity but with a bit more warmth and mids, and also decent for lite break up crunch. |

99% certain John won't do tune-o-matic style bridges on a 25.5 inch scale lenth guitar.
However, I do believe he's going with a Tone-Pros bridge for his new Classic-T shaped 24.75 inch scale length guitar.
For the spank with warmth you're looking for, you might want to try an alder body instead with a maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard. _________________ MUSIC + TECHNOLOGY BLOG: http://petelacis.com

Errrr..... just what Pete said.
I think the guitar that pete is talking about will be the basis of this years Ltd Ed too.
How about splitting all those options into 2 guitars |
