Bought this last year, and promptly had John do his "Classic" mod to it. It's in excellent condition, comes with footswitch and clamshell cover. Asking for $2100 shipped. Email for pics. Steve

I guess Im trying to ask if you had any complaints about the OD 50, or if you didnt like anything about it, like the tone, controls, etc. Just wanted to know before I purchase one. Thanks....

Nothing wrong; I just don't play it. I have smaller powered amps that I'm using (Carr Rambler, Kingsley D32). Just a bit too loud for my needs. I bought on a whim, and havent' really used it much. It's a great amp for someone who likes their volume up.

Hi, me again, back to bug you and ask another question. I was wondering if the CAA 50 can be run at a lower volume and still get a good overdriven/distortion sound, like say a Soldano can? Thanks

Yes, you can. But bear in mind that what I think is good distortion may not be what you think it is. The CAA is a master volume amp, so you can crank the volume and gain and drop down the master. Hope this helps. Steve

Ok, so I dont play loud all the time, but I love a nice overdriven distortion, without being to muddy, but tight sounding. I have a badger, but I need an amp for more 80's hairband stuff I will be playing...Is the CAA 50 good for that type sound at low volumes, and sometimes stage volumes?
