hello,

i just got a Suhr mini mixer a couple of days ago, i wanted to use it with my MPX-1 in the FX loop of my OD100.
i usually use a wet/dry/wet setup with this reverb but for smaller venues or rehearsals, i thought it would be cool to use only 1 cab with my reverb.

when i wired the mini mixer in the FX loop and the Lexicon in the send-return of the device, i got a big Hum in my signal..

maybe i was using a wrong power transformer but i don't think so..

what the hell do i do wrong..??

cheers guys,

steev

lift the mpx1 power cord..of course it is not ultra safe but it is the easiest way..be sure to power everything only when the whole thing is connected
if you want to go the safe way you must isolate the input and output

Bruno.
What are we talking about here? A Furman, PowerBrite etc.? Or isolating the the MiniMixer PSU?

I am still waiting for my MM to arrive.

hello guys,

just a question about the isolation thing, i know that Bob Bradshaw made the ISO-1 Single channel audio isolation transformer to cancel ground loop hum. is it the type of thing to use with the MPX1?
apparently the palmer is quite the same thing but i don't see how it's wired.. do i need one for the input and one for the output ?

when i saw Landau with his live rig in europ he didn't seem to have something else with the mini mixer... maybe he had..

can somebody shed some more light on that thing?

lovely..
