I'm ordering my first Suhr through Tone Merchants and have a question about the neck. I've been playing a Warmoth for the past 15 yrs or so and am really used to this neck. I can't remember for sure but when I finished the neck I used an "antique finish" by, maybe, Formsby's? If it's not Formsby's it's available at Ace Hardware and comes in a red square-ish can. So my question is, can I get the neck finished in something similar? I really like feeling the wood and not some glossy slick finish.

| Unless asked for I do not think Suhr glosses their necks. I've owned three and they all have a super smooth satin finish - you feel wood, not laquer! |

Oh! Well, there ya go then. I had no idea what kind of finish he used but was just afraid it might be a thicker glossier type. Good info. Thanks!
