Has anybody tried suhr pickups(Doug A. or SSH+) in a LP?
How is the output?
Can you compare a suhr neck to a Seymour duncan jazz and a suhr bridge to a custom or JB???
I havent decided which set to buy yet though...
But i play jazz, blues and classic rock.I do some shredding too...
Can you compare Suhr's to Seymour's or at least recommend a suhr set and tell me what its capable of...
Help.....

Both will sound fine in a LP... the JB is narrower and less dynamic than SSH+ ,SH5 is less natural sounding than the Suhr too
For the neck I would go for SSV or the Aldrich ..definetely more power and balance than the Jazz

I had a SSH+ and an ALdrich set in a Les paul and it was a killer setup !!!!!!! I was a big user of Duncan pickups and love the JB but the Suhr's sound more natural, and they clean up better.- Scott

So are they more powerful than a Custom???
I guess they are as powerful as a jb...
What are the cons/pros???
Suhr or Seymour???
Doug Aldrich or SSV/SSH+ ???
Please...I need some more comments... |
