Hi all,

I've been playing the Hedgehog for a few weeks and am having great fun with it. Such a huge sound when its turned up!

I had a few questions about the effects loop that I was hoping someone would help out with?

1. When I'm playing on the overdrive side at bedroom volumes with the effects loop engaged (nothing is plugged into it) I can hear a treble-y fizzy sound around the notes. If I bypass the loop (and instead use the amp volume knobs for lower output) the fizziness is not there. Is this expected or could it be a tube thing? Not sure if it's apparent when playing loud, haven't had the chance to try it out

2. What is the "neutral" setting on the return level? Is it 12 o'clock? If so what's happening when its moved past 12 o'clock? Some kind of boost?

Thanks!

To answer the first question I had, before the a gig last night, with the amp up at a good volume I couldn't hear any fizziness. So at least in my experience, dont set the return level too low if using the effects loop as a master volume.
